Who Seeks Therapy?

There are times throughout life when each of us faces challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, confused, depressed, or anxious. Psychotherapy can help move you toward a greater sense of well-being and empowerment. Perhaps most importantly, it can help to make life feel manageable, meaningful and interesting again and lead to a greater sense of contentment.

Life only demands from you the strength you already possess. The key is not to run away or to avoid what needs to change.

Most people I see are ordinary people who for one reason or another have encountered difficulties they would like some help with. The range of people who seek psychotherapy come from all walks of life and cover a diverse set of characteristics.

I believe that each person is unique and requires a different therapy per their inner nature. That said, I sometimes use;

Due to my current home situation, I currently only have openings for people wishing to work via Skype. Working from place of residence again will likely be an option some time next year - I will update this site when that is good to go again.

I do see people from all over the world via Skype and find it a good way to do with therapy with people who otherwise would not have access to my services. I do not find much difference working with Skype than the more traditional face to face interactions. People can experience significant benefits working in this manner.

My usual fee is $120 USD payable on the day of the session.

Psychotherapy takes a real commitment. Having paid out of pocket myself for therapy in the past, I know it can be a real stretch financially. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please discuss your situation with me to see if a sliding scale can apply.

Session length is 1 hour and payment is due after the session concludes.

I do not offer try before you buy sessions.
